In North Ossetia, military personnel are not given compensation for injuries in Ukraine

Contract workers are turning to the courts of Vladikavkaz en masse with claims for the need to pay compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles for injuries received during hostilities in Ukraine. In many cases they are refused.

Thus, the garrison court issued a refusal decision to Albert Pukhashvili. In December 2022, he was injured in Ukraine, damaging his arm under mortar fire. The man underwent surgery, but he did not receive documents about the injury from the military unit.

A serviceman from unit No. 43057, Timur Kornaev, found himself in a similar situation. He injured his knee in January 2023 in a shooting. The command has still not conducted a military medical commission, and Kornaev has not received compensation.

Another contract soldier, Soslan Kubalov, from military unit No. 3724, received a response from the unit commander that the fact that he was injured during the “SVO” had not been proven. This despite the fact that he was treated in a medical institution. Kubalov received a refusal in court.
