In Crimea, police officers issued human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov a warning against violating the law. Law enforcement officials explained the document's origins in connection with the upcoming holiday on May 9th, but such actions typically occur shortly before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People (May 18th).
In the ranking of regions for high salaries, published on the RIA Novosti website, Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia occupy 83rd and 84th (penultimate) places. In these republics, the share of workers officially receiving a salary of 100 thousand rubles per month is 2.1%. The situation is worse only in Kalmykia, where the figure is 1.8%.
In 82nd and 81st places are Dagestan and Chechnya (2.3% each). North Ossetia and Karachay-Cherkessia took 80th and 79th places (2.4% each). The Stavropol Territory was in 66th position with an indicator of 4.2%.
Experts also note that the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District have the largest share of low-paid workers (those who earn less than 20 thousand rubles per month according to official data). In Chechnya the figure is 35.6%, in Ingushetia - 34.1%, in Dagestan - 32.2%, in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic - 30.8%, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic - 29%, in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania - 28.8%.
The leaders in high salaries were Chukotka and Yamal, where more than half of the workers earn over 100 thousand rubles per month.
