Unemployment decreased in IFRS, remaining the highest in RF

In 2022, compared to 2021, the number of unemployed in Ingushetia decreased by 8.1 per cent. This is the 3rd place in the country on this indicator, as reported by RIA «Rating».

Dagestan occupies 4th place - 8%. Karachaevo-Cherkessia ranks 7th (with a 5.4% decrease in the number of unemployed), North Ossetia ranks 9th (4.4%), Chechnya ranks 10th (4.1%).

The reduction in the unemployment rate was made possible by sending part of the population of these regions to war in Ukraine. With an average Russian unemployment rate of 4 per cent, it was 28.7 per cent in Ingushetia, 12.2 per cent in Dagestan, 11.9 per cent in North Ossetia and 11 per cent in Chechnya.
