The US reminded about Russia's occupation of Georgian territory
Russia is a country that also invaded another neighboring country, Georgia. It continues to occupy it, just like Ukraine. This was stated at a briefing by the press secretary of the US State Department, Matthew Miller.

According to him, the US continues to coordinate its actions with NATO allies regarding a number of threats that Russia poses with its aggression to the security of Europe.

In the coming weeks, a technical mission of the European Commission will arrive in Georgia to study the results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26. In addition, the head of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission will present a report to the EU member states. The report will assess "how complaints about violations during the elections were handled."

The ruling party "Georgian Dream", recognized as the winner, is often called pro-Russian. Mass protests are taking place in Georgia after the elections. Participants are demanding that the voting results be cancelled.
