Trial of another group of participants in the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport has begun in Stavropol
The Industrial District Court of Stavropol held the first hearing in the case of seven more residents of Dagestan accused of participating in the riots at the Makhachkala airport.

The investigation brought charges against Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Umar Dzhanboruev, Alimpasha Daitbekov, Gadzhi Akhmedulaev, Magomedamin Tagirov, Alilu Ismailov, and Ramazan Isaev. They are accused of participating in the anti-Semitic pogrom at the Uytash airport on October 29, 2023.

The defendants are accused of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in mass riots accompanied by violence, pogroms, destruction of property, as well as armed resistance to a government official). Earlier, several dozen people had already received real terms in the "airport case".

According to the Investigative Committee, 142 people were involved in the crimes. Preliminary investigations have been completed for 135 people. Human rights activists pointed out its bias: among the accused there may be those who did not participate in the storming of the airport.

Recall that on October 29, 2023, hundreds of people broke into the Makhachkala airport, trying to find passengers on a transit flight from Tel Aviv. Those gathered were protesting against Israel's actions in Palestine.
