Military parades to be held in three cities of the North Caucasus Federal District
On May 9, military parades in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held, among other places, in three cities of the North Caucasus Federal District. These are Vladikavkaz, Kaspiysk, and Stavropol.
 
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, parades will be held in eight hero cities across the country, as well as in 19 cities where the headquarters of military districts, fleets, combined arms armies, and the Caspian Flotilla are stationed. These include Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, and Novocherkassk. The total list includes 27 municipalities, the Defense Ministry reported.
 
The parade units will include participants of the "NVO". The events will include a historical part, columns with front standards, battle flags of distinguished military units, weapons, and equipment from the Great Patriotic War.
