Four-day talks between Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers ended in Washington

Following the meetings in the United States, the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia reached mutual agreement on certain articles of the bilateral agreement on peace and establishment of inter-state relations. At the same time, the sides acknowledged that positions on some key issues remain different, as stated in Baku.

The ministers agreed to continue negotiations. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken noted that Baku and Yerevan have made significant progress towards a peace agreement. He also noted that the growing part of the negotiating marathon is the most difficult, but the US intends to help the parties pass the finish line.
