Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.
In Vienna picketed in support of the natives of Chechnya, who do not want to fight against Ukraine

The day before, in the capital of Austria, more than 20 people took part in a rally in support of the natives of Chechnya, who are fleeing Russian mobilization for the war with Ukraine. The participants asked the authorities of the country and representatives of the OSCE to provide asylum to emigrants.
Among the picketers were representatives of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Austrian human rights activists, activists from Ukraine and Russia.
As Roza Dunayeva, a CRI representative in Austria, noted, in Chechnya many people are forcibly, under the threat of violence, forced to go to war against Ukraine. Some managed to leave Russia, and the countries of Europe should provide them with asylum.
