Death of 103 natives of Chechnya officially confirmed in war with Ukraine

Since the beginning of the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the death of at least 103 residents of Chechnya has been officially confirmed by various departments and statements by officials. One of the latest announced victims is an employee of the National Guard Department for Chechnya, private Alvi Sungurov.

Over the past 16 months of the war, the largest number of deaths from the Russian Federation are residents of Sverdlovsk (1000), Chelyabinsk regions (848), Bashkiria (843) and Buryatia (784).

According to a study by Mediazona, the total number of natives of the South and North Caucasus killed in the war is 4456 people.
