Vladimir Zelensky was horrified by the state of Mikheil Saakashvili and instructed the Foreign Ministry to expel the Georgian ambassador

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the terrible condition of the imprisoned ex-president of Georgia, citizen of Ukraine Mikheil Saakashvili after a long hunger strike. He instructed the country's Foreign Ministry to protest to the Georgian ambassador and offer to leave Ukraine within 48 hours for consultations in his country.

“Right now, Russia is killing Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili with the hands of the Georgian authorities. I once again urge the Georgian authorities to hand over to Ukraine a citizen of our country, Mikheil Saakashvili, for the necessary treatment and care," Zelensky wrote on his TG channel.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, in response to the instructions of the country's president, said that a tough conversation would be held with the Georgian ambassador and he would leave for Tbilisi.

Recall that the former president of Georgia is on trial in the case of the dispersal of the rally in 2007. Saakashvili's supporters say that if he continues to be kept in a Georgian prison, he will die. Photos of the emaciated and exhausted ex-president of Georgia blew up the world community.
