The Armenian authorities announced an investigation into the incident involving the deportation of a Russian conscript

The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has not received a petition from Russian colleagues for the detention or extradition of Russian citizen Dmitry Setrakov. The country’s authorities also did not know about the Russian’s presence in Armenia, but they promised to look into it and, if necessary, open a case, the supervisory agency reported.

Let us remind you that the mobilized Dmitry Setrakov, who left the Russian Federation for Armenia and did not want to fight in Ukraine, was deported back. Now he is in Rostov-on-Don, in the military police department for the Southern Military District.

Dmitry Setrakov was detained on December 7 in the Armenian city of Gyumri by Russian military police. He was held at a Russian military base. The day before it became known that the man was deported to Russia.

This is the first case of expulsion of a mobilized person from Armenia. In the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been initiated against a young man for leaving his unit without permission.
