The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has published a report alleging that Georgian authorities used chemical weapons during the suppression of pro-European protests in Tbilisi in 2024. The chemical weapon in question is bromobenzyl cyanide, a chemical warfare agent dating back to World War I, also known as "kamit."
Apr-City/TVD, a subsidiary of Wildberries, has acquired Ingushetia's only international airport for 425 million rubles. This was announced by the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.
"We took this step deliberately, recognizing that significant investment is needed for the airport's further development. Initially, the shares were valued at 250 million rubles, but following an auction in which two companies participated, the transaction price reached 425 million rubles," Kalimatov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The airport, located in Magas, received international status in 2021. Ingushetia's leadership hopes that the new ownership will lead to the opening of new flights, which, according to Kalimatov, will "give impetus to the development of the region's tourism industry."
