A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office demanded that six Telegram channels be removed, including the resource of Chechen opposition activists 1ADAT. In August, a Moscow court fined Telegram four million rubles for refusing to satisfy this demand. This was reported by the publication "Verstka".
In addition, the Russian authorities demanded that the channels of Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov and Israeli military analyst Igal Levin, as well as the Belarusian opposition channel Nexta, the channel of the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN and the channel "Pravda Gerashchenko" be closed.
The prosecutor's office also tried to remove 11 posts in different channels that talked about the "Defenders of the Fatherland" foundation. In particular, about the fact that tens of billions of rubles were allocated to it from the budget and that it is headed by Putin's niece, Anna Tsivileva.
