Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

The meeting in Malta of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine is a demonstrative anti-Russian gesture of official Yerevan. This was stated by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Zakharova.
“Armenia must be aware that this is a demonstrative flirtation with those who aggressively oppose Russia. It is regrettable that Yerevan is purposefully destroying allied relations, which it previously called the basis of the country’s prosperity. In addition, in Armenia, openly, on the verge of Russophobia, publications of media and media resources paid for and affiliated with government agencies and officials are spreading,” Zakharova said.
Earlier in Malta, a meeting took place between the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Ermak. According to the Armenian version, bilateral relations were discussed. Ermak thanked the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia for her participation in the summit of first ladies in Kyiv and humanitarian assistance. Kyiv also highly appreciated the accession of Armenia to the circle of states supporting the Ukrainian peace formula.
