Military personnel from Dagestan and North Ossetia were sentenced to real terms on charges of desertion
The Vladikavkaz Garrison Court sentenced "SVO" participant Davyd Iluridze to five years in prison. Ego was found guilty of six episodes of abandoning a military unit.
 
Iluridze was mobilized in September 2022. In the summer of 2023, he left the military unit, then returned two weeks later. After that, he ran away from the service five more times and returned. Despite the presence of state awards for participation in "special operations", he was sentenced to five years in a colony.
 
Shamil Abazaliyev, a contract worker from Dagestan, was sentenced to six and a half years. When a criminal case was opened against him for possession of narcotics, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense, but did not appear in part due to the fact that he was forced to participate in investigative actions and be present in court. As a result, the contractor was found guilty of voluntarily leaving the service and was sentenced to a total of six and a half years in prison.
