Up to 800 soldiers from Chechnya could have died in Ukraine in recent days

During the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the number of dead and missing Kadyrov's fighters in recent days alone is 700-800 people. However, the leadership of Chechnya hides real losses so as not to pay compensation payments to relatives and not cause discontent. This was stated by the former press secretary of the Chechen battalion named after Sheikh Mansur, fighting for Ukraine, Islam Belokiev.

Belokiev also published audio messages in Chechen, allegedly recorded by soldiers of the first battalion of the Sever-Akhmat regiment. Speakers claim that only 60 out of a unit of 500 people survived, the rest were killed in the last four days near Bakhmut and in other places.

Recall that both local residents and natives of other regions are sent from Chechnya to Ukraine.

In response to these reports, the Chechen Minister for National Policy, Foreign Relations and the Press, Akhmed Dudayev, called them "fakes". “On this occasion, I spoke with the head of the regional operational headquarters, Magomed Daudov, as well as the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, and declare that information about the death of our soldiers is not reliable and is being disseminated only for the purpose of provocation and to cause concern among our citizens. This is the work of traitors who sat out in Europe while the Chechen people were on the brink of the abyss,” said Dudayev.
