The Crimean Tatar political prisoner's complaint about the intolerable conditions of detention was rejected

Crimean Tatar activist Server Zekyryaev was denied a claim to IK-1 of the Tula region due to unbearable detention conditions. He complained about the constant smell of sewage, causing nausea, vomiting and dizziness.

In his lawsuit, the former physical education teacher Server Zekyryaev also pointed to the unfoundedness of including him in the list of prisoners "prone to escape." The Bakhchysaray district court of Kryma rejected the complaint.

Since February 2023, the man has been regularly placed in the SHIZO. Also, the ego was repeatedly put in a chamber-type room. The reasons for applying these measures were never given to him. He started having breathing problems and developed chronic cardiovascular insufficiency.

Before his arrest, Server Zekyryaev worked as a physical education teacher and was engaged in flower growing. He was found guilty of involvement in the activities of the Islamic political party "Hizb ut-Tahrir" and sentenced to 13 years. The organization has been banned in Russia since 2003. On the territory of Ukraine and most countries of the world, it operates without restrictions at the level of national legislation.
