Deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan Ismailov was accused of receiving two bribes

Deputy head of the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs Rufat Ismailov, whose detention became known last Tuesday, was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Basmanny Court of Moscow, which on November 8 will consider the petition for the arrest of the deputy minister.

According to the court, Ismailov is charged with two criminal episodes under Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receiving a bribe on a large scale). In addition, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is accused of exceeding official powers with the use of violence (clauses “a”, “d”, “e” part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was sent to pre-trial detention until January 2.

The deputy head of the investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dagestan, Dalgat Abdulgapurov, was charged under the same articles.
