Zarema Musaeva reported on the deterioration of health in remand centres and support from people.

The stay in the Grozny remand centre for more than a year and the frequent court hearings worsened the health of Zarema Musayeva. She wrote about this in a letter through the service "FSIN-letter".
The woman complained of impaired vision, which prevents her from reading books. She suffers from diabetes, the disease is progressing. Musaeva noted that the court hearings bore her. In pre-trial detention, a woman mostly answers letters that give her tremendous support, reads books, wants to learn to draw.
It happens that for a long time I can not sleep. I go through everything and I can not understand why I suffer. I know that after each difficulty comes relief. And this is a temporary difficulty. No matter how many ropes are twisted, the end is everything», - wrote Zarema in a letter.
It should be recalled that the mother of Chechen opponents Ibrahim and Abubakar Yangulbayev were kidnapped in January 2022 in Nizhny Novgorod, and then taken to Chechnya. Despite his health problems, Zarema Musaeva is being held at the detention centre of Grozny as a person involved in the case of assault of a policeman. She allegedly scratched the face of a police officer. The examination did not confirm this fact.
