The experts of the Public Defender of Georgia have prepared a conclusion on the state of health of the former president of the country Mikheil Saakashvili. According to the conclusion, the patient's neurological status remained practically unchanged, with cognitive deficits, motor impairment, and loss of strength. Experts believe that the ex-president's tests indicate a chronic disease - starvation.
The medical team will continue to monitor Saakashvili's health management process and will visit him every two to four months, the report says.
Recall that earlier the opposition, the authorities of Ukraine and European states have repeatedly asked the Georgian government to let Saakashvili go abroad for treatment. Calls to release the politician were made by the leadership of European countries, the United States, and numerous human rights organizations.
