A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.
A resident of Dagestan was sentenced to two years for calling not to pay taxes and utility bills.

A court in Makhachkala sentenced local resident Makhmud Ibadulaev to two years and two months in prison. He was found guilty of involvement in the activities of an extremist organization called “Citizens of the USSR.”
According to investigators, for three years Ibadulaev called on Russians to refuse to pay taxes and housing and utility bills, to fulfill civil obligations, and also promoted hatred of government bodies of the Russian Federation.
“Citizens of the USSR” is a movement that does not recognize the Russian Federation as a state. Its participants urge not to sign any documents and notify government officials of the need to vacate their posts.
