On September 14, the Court of Appeals of Georgia began reviewing the case concerning the events of October 4, 2025, when participants in an opposition protest allegedly attempted to bring about a "peaceful transfer of power." The majority of those convicted in the case are opposition politicians.
The court received protocols regarding the participants in the incident with the anthem at school No. 33 in Nalchik. Citizens are charged with “violating the procedure for the official use of the National Anthem of the Russian Federation” (Article 17.10 of the Administrative Code). This entails punishment - an administrative fine in the amount of 2 to 3 thousand rubles.
Let us remind you that recently at the graduation party at school No. 33 in Nalchik, eight parents of ninth-graders did not stand up during the playing of the Russian anthem. Among them were the head of the RusHydro department, the wife of a judo coach, the wife of a developer in the KBR and mothers of many children. In addition, some schoolchildren covered their ears with their hands.
The head of the State Duma Committee on Defense, Andrei Kartapolov, said that due to “the fact of demonstrative disrespect for the National Anthem of the Russian Federation” at school No. 33 in Nalchik, he contacted “the relevant authorities.” Deputy Vitaly Milonov regarded what was happening as “high treason.”
