Residents of Armenia prefer that their country buy weapons from France and India rather than from Russia

46% of the Armenian population surveyed believes that the most suitable country for purchasing weapons is France. India is in second place in this regard (23.2%), and the Russian Federation is in third (21.9%). These are data from the research company Gallup.

Recently, the country's Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan reported that in 2020, 96% of Yerevan's military-technical cooperation came from Russia, and since 2021 its share has collapsed to 10%.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that his country has no choice but to move towards Europe. He also repeatedly criticized the military-political bloc CSTO, which is under Russian influence, and announced the suspension of Armenia’s participation in it.
