For seven days now, tens of thousands of volunteers from across the North Caucasus have been searching for little hero Khizir Derbichev, who was swept away by the powerful current of the Sunzha River near the village of Yandare in the Nazran District of Ingushetia. Despite fatigue, icy water, and challenging conditions, the men are carefully surveying the underwater area and the shoreline, searching under rocks, trees, and slabs.
Zurabishvili expressed gratitude to the President of Ukraine
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili commented on the decision of the Ukrainian leadership to impose sanctions against 19 leaders of the Georgian Dream. She thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for this.
"I could not have said it better. Thank you, Volodymyr! Russia is trying to regain control over the Black Sea," Zurabishvili wrote.
Nineteen people fell under the restrictions from Ukraine: the founder of the ruling pro-Russian Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, Georgian Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, as well as several judges and members of the Georgian parliament.
