A counter-terrorist operation regime has been introduced in three Russian regions bordering Ukraine. These are the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions.

A native of Chechnya, Temirlan Eskerkhanov, went to one of the assault units and is now performing combat missions in the "SVO" zone. It is reported that the contract with the former convict is valid for one year.

A Russian serviceman has publicly apologized and refuted his words that the Chechen Akhmat unit did not engage in combat with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region and that conscripts had to stop the Ukrainians.

About 120 members of the "Georgian Legion" (recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia) are participating in the capture of districts of the Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the American portal WAR Zone, citing a source familiar with the situation.

The Supreme Court of Russia upheld the verdict of the Southern District Military Court against brother and sister Askerbiy and Lianna Khamukov from Kabardino-Balkaria. They were sentenced to 18 and 16.5 years in prison, respectively, for participating in the armed group "Imarat Kavkaz" and financing terrorism. They declared their innocence.
