The Kyiv District Court of Simferopol remanded four Crimean Tatar women: Esma Nimetulayeva, Elviza Aliyeva, Nasiba Saidova, and Fevziye Osmanova, in pretrial detention for two months. The hearing was held behind closed doors, with limited access for support.

The Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don continued the debate on the case of Abdulmumin Gadzhiev, a journalist from the Dagestan newspaper Chernovik, accused of financing terrorism and participating in the activities of terrorist organizations. Earlier, the prosecutor asked for 19 years in prison for him and two other defendants.
Hajiyev recalled the absurdity of the accusation of financing three unknown organizations and transferring 16,000 rubles to one of them. “Investigator Nadir Televov fabricated evidence: he has all the transactions, and he, looking for a reason to initiate a case, chose to buy a plane ticket. During the four years of my imprisonment, I have seen many fabricated criminal cases, but I have not seen a single one that was done so ugly,” Hajiyev said.
Witnesses for the prosecution themselves refute the crimes imputed by the investigation. All linguistic examinations refuted the propaganda or justification of terrorism in Hajiyev's articles.
The journalist recalled Prigozhin's rebellion on June 24, during which Wagner PMC fighters shot down helicopters, leading to the death of pilots, and did not suffer any punishment. He also recalled the mother of the Chechen human rights activist Zarema Musayeva, who was imprisoned for more than five years for attacking a security official.
