He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.
Dagestan activist Ulker Gashimova complained about pressure from the investigation. During the interrogation, the investigator pushed her, said the mother of the accused, Gulnara Alekberova.
In addition, Gashimova was placed in a cold punishment cell at least four times and was threatened with being sent for compulsory treatment to a psychiatric hospital.
Recently, a criminal case against 23-year-old Ulker Gashimova was transferred to the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don. She is accused of public calls for terrorist and extremist activities. Previously, the girl was placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1 of Makhachkala. She spoke out in support of Ukraine and for the independence of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
Gashimova is also accused of calling for violation of the territorial integrity of Russia. The reason was her publications that part of Dagestan historically belongs to Azerbaijan.
Initially, a court in Moscow arrested Gashimova for 10 and then 15 days under the article on disobedience to the demands of a government official when crossing the state border. She tried to fly abroad from Sheremetyevo Airport to Belgrade in order to request political asylum in the Netherlands during the transfer. After her arrest, she was sent by plane to Dagestan.
