Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze expressed Tbilisi's readiness to take all necessary measures to restore ties with Ukraine as much as possible. Following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Yerevan, the Georgian politician emphasized that, despite existing difficulties, relations between the countries have a long history of friendship.
Armenia supported the creation of a Palestinian state
Armenia will send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this at a meeting with Egyptian leader Al-Sisi in Cairo.
According to Pashinyan, Yerevan regrets the tens of thousands of innocent victims as a result of the escalation of hostilities in Gaza. As for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict itself, Armenia’s position remains the same: it supports the two-state principle.
The day before, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food reported that Israel was bombing humanitarian convoys in the Gaza Strip despite knowing their routes.
“It is clear that Israel does not want any aid to reach those in need. Israel is waging a clear war of hunger,” the speaker noted.
