Armenia Ignores CSTO Summit Again
Armenia will not participate in the CSTO summit in Astana on November 28. At the same time, Yerevan "does not object to the planned documents being adopted." This was reported by the Russian Permanent Representative to the organization, Viktor Vasilyev.

On June 12, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that the country would leave the pro-Russian CSTO bloc, but did not name a specific time frame. He also announced the country's desire to become a candidate for EU membership. In addition, Armenia held military exercises with the United States and increased purchases of weapons and military equipment from European countries and India.

In July, after 32 years of service, Russian border guards left Yerevan's Zvartnots airport. In addition, from 2025, they will stop serving at the checkpoint on the Armenian-Iranian border.
