A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN Yashar Aliyev recalled that during almost 30 years of the conflict, the country's cultural heritage was subjected to looting and vandalism in the territories of Karabakh. According to him, out of 67 mosques and Islamic religious shrines, 64 were destroyed or significantly damaged. Aliyev also stressed that, despite the end of the war, Armenia ignored the order of the International Court of Justice to take the necessary measures to prevent the incitement of racial hatred and discrimination against people of Azerbaijani origin.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in turn, recalled that Baku is constantly trying to interfere with negotiations with Yerevan and the country's economic development by using force. According to him, Azerbaijan is trying to force Armenia to make certain decisions in its interests. “Having learned about the program for the construction of a metallurgical plant in the Karabakh Yeraskh, Baku first came up with a false environmental agenda, and then fired at a facility that stimulates economic growth in Armenia,” Mirzoyan said.
