Azerbaijan expressed its disagreement with the EU-Armenia agreement

Azerbaijan expressed serious concern over the signed partnership agreement between the European Union and Armenia. Baku believes that some provisions contradict the principles of a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

The wording regarding "Karabakh Armenians displaced as a result of Azerbaijan's military operations" has sparked particular discontent. Baku insists that the use of the term "refugees" is inappropriate, as these people have rejected the proposed reintegration program. Azerbaijan is also concerned about the EU's support for the implementation of International Court rulings on Armenia's claims against Azerbaijan, considering this interference in the bilateral process.

Azerbaijan is also concerned by the lack of mention of the TRIPP project, which it considers the basis for normalizing relations. Baku also criticizes the expansion of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, claiming that it is being used for political propaganda against Azerbaijan.
