Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that a significant portion of the current opposition in the country is aligned with foreign interests. Many of its representatives, according to the head of government, effectively act as foreign emissaries.
Due to the damage caused to the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine by Russian strikes, Baku summoned the Russian ambassador and presented him with a note of protest. The Azerbaijani side reported significant damage, including damage to part of the wall, buildings, official vehicles, the administrative building, and the consular section.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry emphasized that this was not the first such incident and expressed concern about the possible intentional nature of the missile strikes. During the meeting, the unacceptability of attacks on diplomatic missions was emphasized, and an investigation with a detailed explanation was demanded.
The incident occurred on November 14 during a massive Russian attack, which, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, resulted in debris from an Iskander missile falling on the embassy. Zelenskyy also reported a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who condemned the attack.
