Azerbaijan Blocks Website of Pro-Kremlin Tsargrad

The website of the Russian "patriotic" propaganda TV channel Tsargrad has become inaccessible in Azerbaijan. The blocking occurred due to the fact that the publication was disseminating "false and provocative information directed against Azerbaijan." This was reported by Minval.az editor Emil Mustafayev, who sent a corresponding statement to the country's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

He noted that in his country, according to statistics, no one read Tsargrad except for journalists who encountered it in the course of their work.

Tsargrad was founded by Russian "Orthodox oligarch" Konstantin Malofeev. Earlier, he, like his channel, fell under sanctions from the United States, the European Union, Great Britain, Canada, and Kazakhstan. Malofeev is known for his support for the annexation of Crimea, the invasion of Ukraine, and for financing volunteer participants fighting on the side of Russia in Ukraine.
