Turkey has abolished the "foreigner" status for citizens of Turkic states, signing a decree simplifying their employment. Now, residents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan will be able to work and do business in Turkey without citizenship or special permits (except for military and security service).

Azerbaijani journalist Bahruz Aliyev criticized President Ilham Aliyev, contrasting him with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The journalist said that it is impossible to imagine the president of Azerbaijan communicating with the people, since he "was not elected by the people and is afraid of the people."
"For him, the street is just a road along which black cars rush, and the police push people aside," he wrote.
At the same time, according to the journalist, Pashinyan, who came to power thanks to the will of the people, trusts his citizens and is legitimate in their eyes. Aliyev expressed envy towards the Armenians, emphasizing that they have a "simple, democratic leader," which is rare even for Europe.
“I think that even in Europe there are few politicians who are not afraid to walk among the people, gain legitimacy through elections and rely on the will of the nation, not on the security services,” noted Bahruz Aliyev.
