Chechen footballer Lechi Sadulaev named among the season's top 33 players

Chechen midfielder Lechi Sadulaev has been included in the list of the 33 best players of the Russian championship for the 2025/26 season. The ranking was approved by the Bureau of the Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

The RFU announced that the annual list of top players was compiled based on the results of the recently concluded Russian Premier League season. It features the players who distinguished themselves most in their respective positions.

For Sadulaev, this marks further recognition of a successful season. The midfielder, who plays for Grozny’s Akhmat, has for several years been one of the most prominent talents produced by Chechen football. In 2022, he made his debut for the Russian national team, appearing in a friendly match against Tajikistan.

During the recently concluded Russian Premier League season, Sadulaev played 28 matches, starting in 27 of them. The midfielder recorded one goal and three assists.
