Two young Caucasian footballers played for the Russian national team

Chechen midfielder Lechi Sadulaev, a midfielder for Akhmat and the Russian national team, and Dagestani forward Amir Ibragimov, a striker for the Manchester United academy, played for Russia in the match against Burkina Faso.

The friendly match between Russia and Burkina Faso took place at the Volgograd Arena.

Sports commentators noted that the Russian team scored their first goals in three matches and defeated Burkina Faso 3-0.

Russian striker Lechi Sadulaev opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Six minutes later, midfielder Alexei Miranchuk extended the home team's lead. Defender Ilya Vakhaniya scored the third goal in the 73rd minute.

Manchester United youth team captain Amir Ibragimov made his debut for the Russian national team. He was the team's youngest player, now 18 years old.

The footballer noted that he and Lechi Sadulaev "clicked right away."

Both athletes represent the North Caucasus, and their participation in the match was a notable highlight of the meeting in Volgograd.
