During talks in Yerevan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for their assistance in countering hybrid threats.
Armenia may apply to join the European Union. Countries and people make choices and have the right to strive for a better future. This was stated by EU Press Secretary for International Relations of the European Commission Peter Stano.
On March 13, the European Parliament adopted a resolution in which it approved Armenia’s desire to become a candidate for EU membership. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed satisfaction with the decision of the European deputies, saying that the resolution should become the subject of broad public discussions in the country.
The day before, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan recalled that today there is a regression in the issue of easing the visa regime with the EU. This applies to both trips of students and other citizens.
