Head of Ingushetia Kalimatov re-elected for a second term

Based on the results of the parliamentary elections in Ingushetia, the post of head of the republic will be taken by Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, who was re-elected for a second term. This was reported by the press service of the head and government of Ingushetia.

On September 8, by secret ballot, deputies of the People's Assembly of Ingushetia chose the head of the republic from three candidates proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The current head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, received the largest number of votes - 25 out of 30. Three parliamentarians voted for the chairman of the committee on state building and legislation Islam Gadiev, and two more - for the head of the department at the main bureau of medical and social expertise Alikhan Arapkhanov.

In the afternoon, Kalimatov will officially take office, which he will hold for the next five years.
