The head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic explained the attack on traffic police officers in Nalchik as “attempts to destroy the country”

The head of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov said that there will be “no mercy” for violators of the constitutional order, “when the whole world is opposing our country, when they want to destroy our country.” This is how he commented on the attack on traffic police officers in Nalchik.

The previous evening, an attack on traffic police officers with the use of a bladed weapon took place in Nalchik, the attacker was killed.

“The wounded officer is receiving all the necessary medical care. Currently, law enforcement agencies are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. Please remain calm. The situation is under control,” Kokov reported.

He said that everyone who tries to go against the law and the constitutional order will be destroyed, and this must be conveyed to everyone.

“There will be no mercy for anyone. And we have no other way, especially today, when the whole world is opposing our country, when they want to destroy our country. And this attack is a clear example of what can happen,” the head of the region added.
