Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze expressed Tbilisi's readiness to take all necessary measures to restore ties with Ukraine as much as possible. Following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Yerevan, the Georgian politician emphasized that, despite existing difficulties, relations between the countries have a long history of friendship.
If Armenia's territorial claims against Azerbaijan are not put to an end, then there will be no peace treaty between the countries. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this at the inauguration ceremony in Baku, noting the failure of the Armenian side to fulfill its obligations.
“We have no claims to the territory of Armenia, but they too must renounce their claims. Speaking to us in the language of unfounded claims and blackmail will cost them dearly, and everyone probably sees this,” the President of Azerbaijan threatened.
According to Aliyev, the Azerbaijani army showed its strength not in exercises or parades, but on the battlefield during the Karabakh war.
“Armenia and those who provide it with military support must know that nothing will stop us,” the Azerbaijani leader said and added that Baku will continue the process of building its armed forces.
