Ingushetia, Dagestan and Chechnya are the anti-leaders of the unemployment rating
In 2024, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Chechnya recorded the highest share of unemployed people in the Russian Federation from the total number of economically active population - 25.5%, 11.5% and 7.5%, respectively. These are the data of the research agency "RIA Rating" based on the results of the fourth quarter of last year.
 
North Ossetia with an indicator of 7.4% is on the 82nd line of the rating, Karachay-Cherkessia - on the 80th (5.3%), Kabardino-Balkaria - on the 77th (4.8%), Stavropol Krai - on the 71st (3.4%).
 
At the same time, the level of official unemployment over the year in all regions of the North Caucasus decreased. The most significant is in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (-4%) and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (-3.1%), the least is in the Stavropol Territory (-0.2%).
 
Moscow is the region with the lowest unemployment rate in Russia, followed by the Amur Region and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
