Turkey to extradite defendant in case of Ingushetia head's brother

Turkish law enforcement officers have detained Islam Seinaroev, the former manager of the Ingush branch of the Russian Social Fund. He is accused of organizing the theft of 2 billion rubles. One of the main defendants in the case is the former head of the federal postal service of Ingushetia, Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov, the elder brother of the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

According to investigators, the community was created by the head of the Pension Fund branch in the republic, Islam Seinaroev, and the head of the local branch of Russian Post, Kambulat Sukiyev. In total, it included 34 people. According to investigators, the funds were transferred by Pension Fund employees, in accordance with the established procedure, to bank accounts of the Russian Post branch in Ingushetia for cashing. After that, the legal pensions were delivered to post offices for distribution to the population. At the same time, the money illegally obtained under the guise of pension recalculations was stolen by the members of the criminal group, the court press service reported.

Under the article on fraud, Kalimatov faces up to ten years in prison, and under the article on criminal community - up to 20 years.
