The political party led by former Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has decided to retake parliamentary seats. This was announced at a briefing by one of its leaders, Giorgi Sharashidze, and later by the party's leader.
European politicians join protests against election results in Georgia

Another protest against the results of the parliamentary elections was held in Tbilisi under the slogan "We are Europe". In addition to the opposition and its supporters, the rally was also attended by the chairmen of the foreign relations committees of the parliaments of Germany, Finland, Sweden, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze threatened to dissolve the opposition parties. He accused those who did not recognize the election results of acting against the constitutional order.
"We are talking about filing a constitutional claim, which requires a small number of deputies. This is absolutely sufficient. If they continue to act against the constitutional order, then we can consider this issue. On the other hand, the opposition is so weakened today that perhaps there will be no need to take such measures, but it would be good for the long-term stable development of the country," Kobakhidze said.
Speaking about foreign policy, he noted that the war in Ukraine will end very soon and all conditions will be created for the restoration of Georgia's relations with the EU and the US.
"We need a qualitative restructuring of relations with both the EU and the US. We linked the restoration to three issues: the first of them was the elections in Georgia, the second was the elections in the US, and the third was the end of the war in Ukraine," the Prime Minister noted.
