Kobakhidze considered the decision of the President of the OSCE PA to postpone the visit to Georgia as an effect of "liberal fascism"
The head of the Cabinet of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, reacted to the decision of the Chairman of the OSCE PA, Pia Kauma, to postpone his visit to Tbilisi. He recalled that he had repeatedly spoken with Kaum about "liberal fascism", the manifestation of which, according to the prime minister, she experienced this time herself.

"I think Mrs. Kauma also saw that this is being coordinated on a fairly wide scale and that this is not a Georgian phenomenon, that it is a phenomenon coordinated by the international community. Liberal fascism is what we all have to fight against, and this current, this ideology must be defeated in our country, Kobakhidze said.

As a reminder, the visit of the head of the OSCE PA to Georgia was planned for January 8-10, however, at the last moment, Kauma changed the decision. She explained that "after discussions and careful consideration" she considered it expedient to postpone the trip "until the moment when the participation of the OSCE PA will be most effective."

Earlier, the Georgian opposition and the fifth president of the country, Salome Zurabishvili, made statements about the untimeliness of Pia Kaum's visit. The member of the European Parliament from Latvia Ryhards Kols called the planned meeting a "disastrous and untimely step".
