The Constitutional Court of Georgia did not cancel the results of the parliamentary elections
The Constitutional Court of Georgia did not accept for consideration the claims of the president and 34 opposition members to cancel the results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26. The decision is final and cannot be appealed or reviewed, the website of the Constitutional Court says.

Earlier, Salome Zurabishvili and members of the opposition parties called on the Constitutional Court to recognize the elections as unconstitutional due to violations and falsifications. According to the results of the vote, the ruling party "Georgian Dream" officially won.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that representatives of the opposition and NGOs "who are behind the protests in Georgia will not escape responsibility."

"Natsmaidan" in Georgia has failed," he stated.

The head of the Cabinet also invited opposition politicians to an open discussion in the government office. The topic of discussion will be the authorities' statement on removing the country's accession to the EU from the agenda.

"We have repeatedly stated our readiness to hold a discussion with people who protest against the statement made by our team on November 28. Several former and current politicians have already expressed interest in participating in such a public discussion. We invite them, together with about ten like-minded people, to hold a live discussion tomorrow," Irakli Kobakhidze said in a statement.
