In Dagestan, Umaraskhab Alibekov, a father of many children, was found guilty of failing to report a planned terrorist attack that killed 22 people. The charge is based on the fact that he knew about the planned attacks on Makhachkala and Derbent but failed to notify authorities.
Two elderly Crimean Tatars drove out in cars to climb the Belaya Rock in the Belogorsk district with national flags, but they were stopped by police officers. A protocol was drawn up against 73-year-old Rustem Kurnosov and 65-year-old Enver Useinov on organizing or holding a public event without filing a notification (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The amount of fines amounted to 40 thousand rubles.
The Crimean Tatars explained that they did not know about the need to coordinate their trip on Sunday for a walk. At the same time, the Russian flag was unfurled at the foot of the White Mountain. The police did not respond to the activists' remark about whether those people filed a notice of holding a public event.
