A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Russian Ministry of Justice has approved a new list of foreign agents. It includes Crimean Tatar human rights activist Lutfiye Zudiyeva. She is known for representing the interests of Crimean Tatars in court on politically motivated charges.
Zudiyeva's house was searched last year. The Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs officers seized a video surveillance recorder, all phones, flash drives, and a laptop belonging to Zudiyeva and her family members. The security forces did not allow lawyers Emil Kurbedinov and Edem Semedlyaev into the house when they arrived.
Two reports were drawn up against Lutfiye Zudiyeva under the article on abuse of freedom of the mass media. The first was due to a publication about the Hizb ut-Tahrir party without indicating that it was recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, and the second was due to a post about Radio Liberty without indicating that the publication was included in the register of “foreign agents.”
