The residents of Chechnya work the least in the North Caucasus Federal District

In the first quarter of 2023, the population of North Ossetia worked an average of 39 hours per week (just under 8 hours per day). This is the maximum figure for the NCFD. In second place is Stavropol (38 hours and 22 minutes), in third place is Dagestan (38 hours 2 minutes). In other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, employees work less than 38 hours a day. The lowest figure is in Chechnya (37 hours 5 minutes). These are the results of a study conducted by FinExpertiza.

On the whole, against the backdrop of a shortage of personnel, the average length of the working week has increased among Russians. In January-March, it was a record 38 hours and 30 minutes. According to experts, the increase in workload was due to an acute shortage of staff, the transition of some enterprises to work in several shifts and the increase in the economic involvement of women.
