Mikhail Saakashvili warned about a possible attempt by the Kremlin to seize power in Georgia.

All political groups in Georgia must unite against the Russian coup. In parallel with the failure in Ukraine, the defeat in Moldova, Moscow is going to overtly seize power in Tbilisi in the near future. Former President of the country Mikhail Saakashvili wrote about this in the social network.

Saakashvili also supported current Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili. In his view, it should use its position to send a message to the world that in the total isolation of Georgia, its complete conquest and occupation are being prepared.

Zurabishvili constantly criticizes the government and ruling party «Georgian Dream». According to her, they have driven themselves into isolation, separated themselves from the democratic community and are trying to justify the supposedly neutral position regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Earlier, the Tbilisi court refused to release Mikhail Saakashvili for treatment. He was diagnosed with a number of serious diseases. High-ranking officials of many countries emphasize that Saakashvili is a political prisoner who is being tortured by the acting authorities of Georgia.
