Moscow sent a note of protest to Yerevan after the visit of the Armenian delegation to Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to the Armenian Foreign Ministry after the Armenian delegation visited the Ukrainian city of Bucha. This was stated by the representative of the Russian department Maria Zakharova.

“We regard the visit to the city of Buchi by the heads of the capital’s Nor-Nork administrative district, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, and the Armenian diplomatic mission, Vladimir Karapetyan, as an openly unfriendly step on the part of official Yerevan. We are concerned about their transfer of assistance to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the unacceptable statements made there against Russia,” Zakharova emphasized.

Recently, the Ambassador of Armenia to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan and the head of the Nor-Nork administrative district of Yerevan Tigran Ter-Margaryan visited the Ukrainian city of Bucha. The latter stated that Yerevan and Nor-Nork will always support Bucha and other communities “suffered by Russian aggression.” “This humanitarian assistance is only a small part of our solidarity,” said Tigran Ter-Margaryan.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accused the two CSTO countries of helping Azerbaijan during the Second Karabakh War. “In 2020, our allies took part in the preparations for war, not on our side,” he noted during a speech in parliament. Observers immediately identified these countries - the Russian Federation and Belarus.
